Incorporated a Non-Profit organisation in New Zealand to provide programs for well-being, transformation, quality of life and creativity in the community. An emphasis is placed on people who are disadvantaged and have special needs.
The mission:
- to build awareness of consciousness and societies
- support the preservation of heritage and values
- education of arts and cultural expression
empowering holistic, sustainable harmony and quality of life.
An extensive journey devoted to philanthropy and social impact, delivering pro-bono managerial services and championing charitable initiatives in social development, fair trade, artisan empowerment, and human rights.
I collaborated with global charities and grassroots organisations, driving meaningful change through voluntary support and advocacy.
Supported Indigenous, migrant and Native Title causes across Australia, Asia, and Africa before joining the global movement of World Peace and Prayer Day (WPPD). Attended the 2002 WPPD gathering, founded by Lakota Spiritual Leader Chief Arvol Lookinghorse, hosted at Mahatma Gandhi’s Sree Meamanen Temple in South Africa by his granddaughter, Hon. Ela Gandhi. Collaborated with Wolakota International founder Paula Horne (Lookinghorse) in London to establish strategic planning, fundraising, and media relationships. Continued working with Indigenous delegates and sustainability advocates, aligning my academic focus on anthropology and cultural astronomy to further these efforts.
Established a creativity and personal development community centre dedicated to offering charitable services for those facing disadvantage, poverty, or the need for empowerment. Focused on providing wellness support and opportunities for personal development, the centre became a hub for positive transformation.
Dedicated to supporting individuals, community groups, and charitable organisations through professional and personal efforts.
Activities included organising and managing charitable events and fundraising initiatives for groups like St John Ambulance, Surf and Rescue, Volunteer Fire Brigade, and Women’s Refuge.
Volunteered with welfare service groups, such as soup kitchens and homeless support, and championed Indigenous causes.
Provided Victim Support during Australian court proceedings, acted as an advocate and mediator for individuals engaging with governance bodies, and trained as a firefighter, serving with the Volunteer Fire Brigade in NSW.
